Massage Therapy
Lynn has extensive experience in the field of musculo-skeletal physiotherapy. She spent many years post qualification working in the NHS culminating in managing the Acute Physiotherapy service at The Royal Free Hospital Hampstead, and has completed extensive postgraduate training in Musculoskeletal therapy, and a Masters degree in Research Methodology at Kings College London.
She also lead a Masters degree programme in Manipulative Therapy at Coventry University before moving solely into private practice.
Lynn has particular experience in the management and treatment of Temporo Mandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), and Back and Neck pain (including headaches).
Lynn has a strong manual therapy ‘hands on’ approach to treatment and believes that it is important to address the issue of recurrence, and to minimise the likelihood of this occurring by giving advice, exercise, and prevention strategies.
The first appointment will usually last for one hour, and follow-up appointments will usually last for half an hour.
It is not necessary to obtain a doctors referral to have physiotherapy, though if you plan to use private health insurance your insurer will usually require this.
